The Jewelbox is an incredible solution for keeping and storing some of your most precious belongings – your jewellery. The Jewelbox is not only elegant, and compared to traditional jewellery boxes, simple in look and feel, it is a true Danish design object, made for the modern, cool, yet feminine woman.
The Jewelbox is a smaller version of our iconic Bookbox, but with an added ring inlay. It has long been one of our most popular storage boxes, and is both modern and classic – inspired by traditions but created with today’s needs for tactile and simple storage solutions in mind.
This Jewelbox is crafted in the most exquisite surplus leather from one of our amazing surplus leather partners e.g., Ecco Leather, Sorensen Leather and Fredericia Furniture. Crafting the box from natural surplus materials means that sometimes there are small colour variations between batches and smaller – almost invisible – natural marks. We call it perfectly imperfect.
The colour of this Jewelbox is black, and most often we will also have grey and cognac in our assortment. Sometimes, when materials are available, we will have other beautiful colours. The classic surplus material Jewelbox is always the same colour on the exterior and the interior.

Material: Surplus leather. The exact type of leather may differ from time to time, as this box is made from surplus leather and the leather quality used therefore depends on the available screenings of leather. The leather is however always among the highest quality of European leather

Crafted by hand in the best available materials
Each August Sandgren object is crafted by hand in Portugal by a fourth-generation family of craftsmen. They are not only incredibly talented, but also very dear to us.
The leather and fabrics that we use are all sourced in Europe and from leading tanneries offering transparency; from the origin of the hide to their Oeko-tex certified tanning processes.
Today, most of our objects are crafted in surplus materials sourced from the world’s leading furniture and fashion brands – we are not only very proud to contribute to waste reduction, but also to work with a quality that does not get any better!
It is easy to keep your object beautiful
We craft our objects to last – both in their construction and in our choice of materials. The construction is perfected in every aspect to ensure that it lasts, and to a large extent, so will the leather. The leather will, however, patinate, which we believe is part of its beauty and a testimony to how natural a product we create. To maintain our objects in the best possible way, and to keep it moist, you should leave it out of direct sunlight and every couple of years, treat it with leather grease – just use a soft, clean, cotton cloth and a thin layer of grease, and that’s it!
Make it personal!
All our leather objects can be personalised with name or initials. It is a small addition with a huge and valuable potential for appreciation from the receiver – that person being yourself or someone dear to you.
Personalising your object is easy and only increases delivery time with a maximum of two-three days.
